Hey There
My name is Valentino Chief Kasibante, married to my Laura. Four months after our wedding, the Lord called us to go to Nkumba and plant a church. It is now 10 years since we obeyed that call.
The Lord has blessed us tremendously with so many wonderful things such as our family. Laura and I have 4 kids: Max, Judah, Zionne and Shemaiah.

All About Me
I was born in 1982 in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. I had a very difficult childhood growing up in a dysfunctional family that eventually fell apart. I grew up in so many different families because my parents separated before I was even 5. When I was 10 my father succumbed to death due to alcohol abuse.
Going to school was a very big challenge for me, because I had very little support with
school fees. I was forced to grow up fast so that I could take care of myself. At the age of 14, I
had my first job. Soon I became very independent as if everything depended on
me. Due to so much frustration and peer influence, I began using drugs. In year 2000, with
the help of my sister, I went to Kigali Rwanda to learn car mechanics. In 2002, I returned to Uganda with a new dream of becoming a famous musician. I joined a neighborhood gang and we did a lot of drinking, girls, clubbing, drugs and street fighting. A few years down the road, I was a hopeless homeless drug addict on a self destructive mission, just like my deceased father.
April 16, 2006, Resurrection Sunday, was a pivotal day. Just as the two women rose up early in the
morning to go to the tomb, I also did. But to differ from the two women, my agenda was to go
to the lake side and let the gentle breeze blow on me as I also blow out my sticks of weed
which I had carefully packed. It was on that very morning that I was Intercepted by the
risen Lord, after stumbling into a little tent church meeting that met there. Later, I
learned that it was called Calvary Chapel Entebbe.
Little did I know that my entire course of life was about to be flipped right side up.
I began to experience radical changes in my life like strong desires of quitting drugs and
knowing God more. I joined Calvary Chapel Kampala and a few months later, I enrolled
into their Bible College which was an extension campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College,
Murrieta, California. I graduated two and a half years later and I continued serving with
Calvary Chapel Kampala for 4 years.
In 2010, the Lord called me to go into an intense program for Chaplains of the South
Sudanese Liberation Army, led by Far Reaching Ministries. In June 2012, I married my wife Laura and four months later, the Lord called me to go to Nkumba and plant a church there. It's now 10 years since I obeyed that call. The Lord has blessed me tremendously with so many wonderful things like family. Laura and I have four kids: Max, Judah, Zionne and Shemaiah.
